The Team Awareness Kit (TAK) is a Government-off-the-Shelf (GOTS) suite of software applications that comprises of iTAK, ATAK, WinTAK, and WebTAK. They are specifically designed and developed to run on the Apple iOS, Android, and Windows operating systems both in a tactical and Command and Control environments. Each application is an extensible moving map display that integrates Department of Defense (DoD) and commercial imagery, map, and overlay information to provide enhanced collaboration and Situational Awareness (SA) over a tactical meshed network and promotes information flow and communications from the tactical environment to command enterprise locations.
